    Teams & Riders Geraint Thomas

Re: I don't think he can go rogue. If he's in a group ahead he'll go for it, that what he's said all along. It'd be interesting though if Froome is in the group behind and has Sky riders to chase. On the one hand they'll be chasing one of their own but on the other he's in a perfect position...

Re: I keep hearing his name, a really exciting hope for the future but a few years away from competing at World Tour level?

British Cyclists - future looks bright?

21 then! Knew I'd miss somebody. No way we can expect to keep churning out TdF winners as we have. Hoping there will be a good mix amongst this new group.

British Cyclists - future looks bright?

Re: I agree that in 50 years time it may well be the case that the period 2010 - 2017 could be looked at the most successful Britain has ever been in terms of results (5 Tours, 1 Vuelta, 1 World Championship, 1 TDF Green Jersey, 2 TdF White jerseys, 1 MSR etc etc) but I was thinking more about...

    Team Ineos Discussion thread

Do you think Geraint could claim a podium finish at the Giro? I doubted it considering the talent he's up against but I think he can hold his own against Aru & Nibali.

Off season fun - Cycling Quiz (Top 100 CQ Ranking)

Not sure why but it wouldn't accept several of my entries. I have checked again on the spelling but it must be me.

    The Owain Doull thread

Perhaps a little premature but what does everyone feel about Doull's future on the road? Wiggins compared him to Geraint Thomas after the Team Pursuit but is that fair?

The benefits of a strong GT team?

Thanks very much for all your replies. Very interesting. It does sum up my thoughts about a strong team which is: 1. It's essential when things go wrong 2. A weak leader won't win just because he has a strong team 3. However, a strong team puts rivals under pressure. If they sense weakness...

The benefits of a strong GT team?

Hi there, first post (and a little nervous considering where nearly all other threads end up but here we go....) Apologies if this is a bit too basic a question but I wondered about the benefits of a strong climbing team during a Grand Tour. There are obvious benefit when things go wrong...
