Biggest mistake was from Phil.
Renshaw leading Cav out.
At that time Renshaw was probably just starting his descent or still climbing. It was Martin! They even said Martin was there earlier but then when push came to shove he made another key mistake!
Even if Contador goes to Caisse, I'm sure that Valverde will ride for him. Contador will be given the Tour duties and Contador will ride for Valverde for the Veulta. They just need to bring another strong climber to their team with Alberto!
Sylvain Chavanel - hungry
David Moncoutie - hungry
Stijn Devolder - coming back into form. That climb at the end suits him and suits his ability to break away from the break.
Who else is motivated here?
Pierre Rolland wants top 20 so he needs to go in the break today to try and get it!
Di Luca tested positive twice for Cera in the Giro d'Italia.
Does that surprise anyone?
Maybe Menchov is riding crap here because Vienna was shut down on him?
Another sign of Ligget losing the plot.
You've been watching the stage all day. You know who is in the break. Half way up the last climb a Cofidis rider attacked.
"To me it looks like Christophe Kern" - something similar were his words. Anyone paying attention to the stage knew that...
I was about to say the same but now it's live.
Tomarlaris did say at the start of the coverage that they would go to delayed broadcast then live action. Obviously they didn't want to pitch to live vision when they were at the top of the climb. So they showed us the action a fewkm down on delay.
It's not the repetitiveness that is annoying about Phil and Paul. That can be handled.
It's Phil's constant mistakes. He's not professional enough anymore.
SBS need to change the commentary team.
They need Matt Keenan doing the commentary with someone else.
Phil & Paul can stay around - just to the other audiences.
SBS are doing good. But they can expand. Time they look into it!
