Teams & Riders Nairo Quintana discussion thread

The quintana-is-better-in-the-third-week myth is destroyed now. The quintana-worshippers are humbled now. Thankfully, we will hear less and less of them from now on.

where in the world is nairo now? where in the world are the oh so proud nairo fanboys now? Did the cat eat their tongues? This is for you: And now that you've been broken down got your head out of the clouds you're back down on the ground and you don't talk so loud and you don't walk so...

Hey, Nairo is the best on the third week ... /endSarcasm. Another myth, from the chosen one, is debunked . Nairo is best on his second GT in a row ... Not

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

On a more philosophical level, is this the way life tells you to back off? "error" after error, misfortune after misfortune, continued bad luck in your efforts? Is there no dignified retirement? He who shall not be named, aka Lance Armstrong, had the only dignified retirement I can remember ...

Poll: Will Urán be better than Froome in the Stage 20 ITT?

Take it easy. Uran has been virtually dead for the past 3, 4 years and all of sudden you're trying to hype him up the Froome stratosphere. LOL!!!

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Froome, besides being a monster athlete on the bike is a learned man: He speaks French really well. Watched him on an interview the other day. To me, it is really surprising that a lot of elite athletes active in Europe, from all over the world, barely speak their own language.

Re: I hope that they do put 100 km of ITT, like in the Indurain years. The climbers have had many tailor made Tours already.

Re: Re: +1000 to the bold sentence. You beat me to it. Alberto can be dumb enough to turn into Quintana's domestique, like he did in the Vuelta a España. If Contador does do something, he should make sure to shake off Quintana first. He should sprint with all his powers.

Re: LOL!!! Even when he is fresh, Quintana is a big time wheel sucker. He doesn't have the spine to do a decent attack.

Teams & Riders Alberto Contador Discussion Thread

In this Tour, 2017, they won't let Contador win a stage as things stand today. Froome et al respect, or fear, Contador too much to let him get away. Only if Alberto were to lose 30 minutes more on GC would he be given the go ahead for a stage win.
