    Damiano Caruso: The Invisible Man

Honestly, the man deserves much more praise than he gets. Sure, he wasn't the designated leader of Bahrain for the race which may have given him calmness, but he has done remarkably well. His only significant time loss before today was on the sterrato when he was also caught up behind Pidcock...

    Giro d'Italia 2023 Giro d'Italia, Stage 13: Borgofranco d’Ivrea – Crans Montana, 199 km (Friday, May 19th)

Finally the terrain we have been longing for. What I really don't want to watch is the stage ending up with a Ineos/Jumbo train on Crans Montana. I don't want to see the usual Roglic or Thomas just holding someone else's wheel and wait for the final km. Please, someone to screw that bad...

    Damiano Caruso: The Invisible Man

Very respectable TT on Sunday and today a display of what may happen in the coming mountain stages. His terrain is coming up, plus, unlike 2021, he hasn't lost any teammates so far, if you exclude Mader having to withdraw before the start. He definitely has a shot of even winning the whole...

Giro d'Italia 2023 Giro d'Italia: Who is going to win? Pre-race poll.

Finally it's this time of the year again. My favourite race is here. I sincerely hope for a thrilling battle to take place. And may someone else join the two favourites, because I don't like either of them, especially the ski jumper. Can't wait for the start.

Teams & Riders Vincenzo Nibali discussion thread

My two favourite riders, what a memory. I remember how hard it was for me to watch Ivan retire, but at least I knew I had another another favourite. Now that Vincenzo is leaving as well, it will be quite complicated for me to find a new rider to follow. My biggest regrets are Liege 2012 and...

Grazie per le emozioni, Campione. We want you to stay for as long as possible. I believe this is the best performance from Vincenzo since Covid happened. The legs are finally back. If only Etna hadn't happened, he would have been in contention for a podium. I sincerely hope to see him attack on...

Giro d'Italia 2022 Giro d'Italia: Who is going to win? Pre-race poll.

Voted for Landani. The bad luck for him has to come to an end one day, doesn't it? If Damiano was going to the Giro, I would have voted for him. Such a shame he isn't in the team. My heart dearly wants Vincenzo to do something significant, but currently it seems too good to become reality.

Hopefully Vincenzo knows what he is doing. I am still sour about the training crash before this year's Giro because even with that injury he was still way more lively than last year. Still, it's unrealistic to think he will challenge for the GC. One day races should be his priority now. I still...

To me it doesn't matter that this is a small race. Signs of life are here. Grazie Vincenzo. Solo la vittoria e bella.

2021 World Championships in Flanders: Road Races

This could be the decisive move. Since all 11 riders are from different teams, only the UK are sure to chase. Yet they don't seem to have the numbers.

2021 World Championships in Flanders: Road Races

La maglia dell'iride is about to come home. And all roads lead to Rome. Remember that. Hope you are joking about the Euros, Italy was clearly the best team of the tournament. Sonny or Matteo to win would be an amazing end for this great Italian summer.

    The Real Football Thread

Really, mate?? The 3 central defenders were the ones who isolated Immobile. Face it - Italy was the much better team. They won deservedly. Even after the equalizer as Southgate changed the formation back to 4 defenders the situation on the field didn't change at all. The English players really...
