    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Spot on about the mental side of things. At this level, that's often what separates the great from the good. If the team can keep him in a good headspace and manage the expectations, his physical talent will definitely do the rest. He seems much more composed this year.

Winds of youth - a Teen Age is upon us

It's a valid point about the shift in training. The specialized focus at the junior level seems to have moved the peak forward, as these riders are entering the pro peloton with several years of elite-level preparation already behind them.

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

That’s a really valid point. We often focus so much on the physical stats and race results that we forget how much the management and support network shape a young rider's career path. Having the right people to filter the hype and manage the calendar makes a massive difference in the long run.

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

Agreed, Stage 6 feels like the perfect launchpad for a statement move. If he gets a gap early on those gradients, it becomes a mental game for the rest of the GC contenders trying to chase him down.

52nd Volta ao Algarve em Bicicleta (18-22 February)

That is fairly typical for a rider of his profile and age. Most of these young climbers need a few seasons at the professional level to really dial in their positioning and find some aero efficiency on the flat.

    Crashes, what can be done?

It’s definitely a step in the right direction to see the UCI moving towards official standards. Having a clear framework is usually what's needed for manufacturers to really commit to mass production, so hopefully, we see this tech becoming standard sooner rather than later.

    Doping In Athletics

That joke definitely highlights the absurdity of the situation. It’s hard to claim you're difficult to locate when you have a massive, active social media presence. Usually, these suspensions come down to a lack of professional discipline, but it certainly doesn't help the athlete's reputation...

Question REPLACEMENT FOR -Shimano FD M191 Front derailluer

Easier said than done sometimes! Since the M191 is a legacy part, it’s often replaced by the Tourney TY series or the newer Altus models in most shops now. As long as you stick with a "Dual Pull" model to match your bottom routing, you'll be back on the road pretty quickly.

    How wide is too wide?

Disk brakes and wider tires make sense for stability and braking in heavier riders but don’t inherently make bikes faster
