Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm sure I saw Caja Rural confirmed Carlos Garcia to their U23 team

On the Lizarte topic, are they rebranding to Team KernPharma? A few of their riders have signed there for 2020 and saw Castrillo linked there too. Perhaps someone can fill me in on that, thanks!

Sevilla and Canton lost their U23 eligibility at the end of last season actually. Either way, I assumed Sevilla, Camacho et al would stay with Kometa given the good race calendar in Spain etc, unless one of the Spanish PCT come knocking. We've seen Gazzoli linked to Trek, assuming Puppio and...

UCI Road World Championships 21st-29th September 2019 - Yorkshire - Race Thread.

Not only did he finish, he stood in his wet kit for about 10 minutes doing interviews in the mixed zone, all with a slightly sore foot, although he already thinks it's not serious and he will be fine for Friday. Valter too did all his media duties and even declined an ambulance, preferring to...

Why Dani? Why? 1 second slower and we would still be in this competiton!!!

    Kasper "The Watt Monster" Asgreen

Pretty crazy to think that despite having a good career as an U23, he wasn't initially picked up by any pro team and was on the Conti level until April. Just shows that even big talents can sometimes slip through the cracks. Bet DQS are glad they took the chance on him now though!

Personally think that would be a great fit. The fact he goes pro midseason is also a very Lotto thing to do, not really something I can recall DQS doing, so all signs point to LS for now.

Got a feeling it will be DQS, but that's just a guess. Lotto could also be a good landing spot though

Not so much concrete rumours, but Torjus Sleen, man of the race at l'Avenir, tweeted that after helping friend and teammate Tobias Foss to win overall, he hopes it won't be their last GC win together. So perhaps Sleen is Jumbo-Visma bound too, just like Foss? View...

    2019 Tour de l'Avenir /// 15th - 25th of August (2.Ncup)

L'Avenir FB page are showing the stages, no commentary and it's not great quality (shows lead group for long time and not peloton, or the footage cuts out and has to move to the finish line), but it's better than nothing I guess

Mathias dropped his chain and the team waited on him. They would have been closer than 47 seconds for sure

Per Matt Rendell, Movistar need to have at least two Colombians on their roster for sponsor reasons. Rubio has been linked for a while, but it seems they are after Juan Diego Alba too. Rendell also says he isn't sure if Betancur stays https://t.co/LBPDz0QikG?amp=1

I thought Stewart broke his collarbone in Alsace? That's a very fast two week recovery... If he is racing here, I'd not imagine he'll get a chance in the sprints, probably works early for the Hayter-Pidcock-Bostock trio in the various finishes that suit each.
