You'd pretty much struggle to put together courses where this wouldn't happen, short of an MTT for Tadej, P-R cobbles for MvdP and a pan flat race for the sprinters. Maybe a technical downhill MTT for Pidcock with some gravel.

Problem is race organisers and teams have sponsorship deals to fulfill. Everybody goes home, sponsors pull out, or make claims, teams fold, cycling dies out.

Gonna lose to Jonas and Almeida. A good result will be time into Hindley and Pellizzari. Note that Pellizzari beat Pidcock by 5s in the Giro - not sure Tom would have been full gas though.

Yeah, I expect Jonas to beat the record. Suits him perfectly, so no doubt he'll have Tullett, Kuss and Matteo to drill the bottom part until drafting doesn't matter and it's mano a mano.

One thing's for sure, I wouldn't want to be doing the ITT next week if I was an IPT rider.
