Re: Really only makes sense if you are a spaniard winning the tour. As for Bernal, I hope Ineos will take care of him (and I think they will). If someone doesn't say "stop", he will be dragged around for events in Columbia until the tour start next years.

I am by no means a great fan of Geraint Thomas, but I think he did surprisingly well in this tour. Honestly, his preparations seems to have been awful with weight gain, book deals, press obligations, crashes and shortened training camp. Sure, he is a former tour winner but second place is -...
