The problem I have with it that apparently it cost around £120,000 per round when a race like the Rutland Cicle Classic (a UCI one day race) costs £40,000. I know which I'd rather watch.

What's peoples thoughts on the Tour Series? Watching riders do laps of a city centre gets a bit boring for me. Great for people who are new to cycling but it's not proper racing is it? Do the rider and teams really want to ride them or is it just for TV coverage?
