Fuglsang: I won't be riding for Contador

Oh I get this board now..........if it doesn't say LANCE or ARMSTRONG in a thread, it's not important. Right  Thanks to those who took the time to read what I posted, and to actually give me the context I was asking for. Sorry to the others that it wasn't a controversial...

    Tour of Britain? Yeah Right!

Sorry to barge in without reading the thread, and no doubt it has been pointed out ten times, but Northern Ireland is no more in Great Britain than the republic of Ireland is. Scotland, Wales and England are physically part of the island of Great Britain, Ireland is a physical island called...

Fuglsang: I won't be riding for Contador

Meaning Contador is definitely not a friend ;) I like Contador, myself. But this article is fairly blunt, shall we say? Of course you'd have to listen to Fuglsang actually saying "Now you can interpret whether it means that I don’t want to ride for him," because the written word is usually...

The Retro Thread: where are they now?

Aside from commenting on Eurosport, Sean Kelly has a cycling academy. Stephen Roche owns a hotel on the Cote d'Azur, right by the sea. Lucky him. Charly Mottet is a sport manager in Canada Ronan Pensec is a consultant for french TV, manages a cycling team and organises GT tourist...

Fuglsang: I won't be riding for Contador

“Am I happy to ride for Contador? No I’m not,” he said to Ekstra Bladet. “Now you can interpret whether it means that I don’t want to ride for him, or whether I’m switching teams.” Probably both...

    Cramp - Any solutions?

Aren't cramps related to lack of potassium? Wild intake of electrolytes could make it worse, really. This is not professional advice but you could be better off eating bananas rather than drinking sodium non-stop?

Samuel Sanchez cracked bone in Tourmalet

Well..... if you're going to excuse Cadel Evans for a broken elbow, you may as well be impressed by Gesink's broken wrist

USA rider wants to race in France

Count me in the bunch who jumped at the 400€ figure The only thing I can think about, is that there is a compulsory social security cover in place, which afaik does cost 350 per trimestre if you are not paying tax in France as a resident.

Samuel Sanchez cracked bone in Tourmalet

I read Gesink also went around with broken stuff, although for a good deal longer

The doped bike exists (video of pro version)!

It's just back to basics, is all :p The winner of the 2nd Tdf in 1904 was disqualified for using a train on a night stage after all.

The Lance and Cancer Show during the last stage

Somebody threatened to sue, that's all. Twitter or not, I'm quite sure it's valid fodder for libel lawsuits.

Will Radio Shack be back in 2011?

I agree, it's so much more drivelly than people who joined July 2010 instead.

Will Radio Shack be back in 2011?

You really think the fair weather fan will keep watching if there are no american riders at the top? I'm not talking the cycling fan, obviously.

    Jaw changes in cyclists?

    Oh absolutely.

Will Radio Shack be back in 2011?

I'd rather "America", as in the wider public, would keep its nose out of the Tdf in the near and far future, i.e forever more. Does that make me a bad person? (not that I care, just inquiring) As for the team, I voted they'd be back under a different name. Lots of stuff happening soon with...
