We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
I totally agree with SoCal!
Lance Armstrong will reach into his bag of courage and will fly up Tourmalet like he has a rocket in his *** (which he got from his bag of courage). Hey, they are not checking there for mechanical doping.:o
Another interesting point is if Renshaw didn't block Farrar who would be wearing the Green Jersey? Petacchi leads Thor by 4 points, which is the points difference between 2nd and 3rd.
edit: spelling
I just rewatched and you're correct Petacchi wasn't impeded in the sprint. I originally thought Petacchi took the outside because was being blocked on the inside from the Renshaw/Dean duo.
Also, It is clear that Renshaw checks over his shoulder before he moves over, after Farrar began to...
I feel as if the battle head-butting between Dean and Renshaw was a legit tactic since Dean deviated from his line. However Renshaw deviated from his line as soon as Farrar began to come around him and almost put him into the barriers.
I disagree with DQing Renshaw but I also feel that...

It will be interesting to see how the cyclingnews forum does compared to the all the other entries... Maybe we will all be at the top:rolleyes:... and by we I mean everyone else from the forum
I am going to be doing summer research at UNM and want to get some riding in while I'm down here. Where are the good places to ride? Any group rides? I am living just north of I-40 near the Coronado Mall and Winrock Shopping Center. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
With such a stacked field I think Wiggins would need another breakthrough to get in the top 10 next year. I feel that Sky would be perfect for that, but then again he is losing a lot of team support. I don't see him getting top five and top ten would be a stretch for him.
Jason McCartney, rides for Saxo Bank, will sometimes show up for the local group ride. Can't say I've ridden with him as I still ride with the "B" group.
