I had biopsy. The biopsy show my muscles have difficulty absorbing glycogen. I had genetic testing - this didn't find anything. High uric acid is the main cause of gout. (A previous reply mentioned they have gout.) I get gout too. I am taking Allopurinol also but this pain started years...
