    2019 Tour de France, stage 9: Saint-Étienne>Brioude 170,5Km

Re: 2019 Tour de France, stage 9: Saint-Étienne>Brioude 170, As a Froome fan, I really miss him not being in the Tour. NGL I hope Thomas doesn't win, as I have a feeling that if he does, Froome won't be given Tour leadership again.

Re: F*** me that is a better team than 90% of the WT TDF squads. Jees Sky aren't pulling their punches. They won't win, but they should win several stages at a minimum!

Teams & Riders The official Egan Bernal is the new Egan Bernal thread

Statement from SKY: Egan underwent surgery on Saturday night to repair his top lip, which was split in the crash, and to reduce his nasal fracture. He will undergo dental surgery in the coming weeks to repair a number of missing, broken and fractured teeth. Egan will rest completely for at...

The contador vs froome debate is probably one for the clinic, ... edited by mod But purely on achievement, Contador won 2/3 Tours & 7/9 Gts. Froome's won 4 Tours & 6 Gts. So depending on your weighting of the Tour vs the Giro & Vuelta, Contador or Froome wins in Palmares terms. IMO I think...

Can Latour win Le Tour thread

I don't think any current French riders can win the Tour. It's sad, but I can't see it happening with Latour, Bardet, Pinot, Gaudu or any others.

Froome, isn't exactly miles off winning this TDF. Froome will inevitably stop winning GTs one day, but after the stressful year he's had, I think he'd done very well. In 2016 & 2017, he built his seasons about peaking for the Tour & the Vuelta. Next year he'll go all in for the Tour & I think...

Teams & Riders Chris Froome Discussion Thread.

Will Chris or G ride the Vuelta or the Tour of Britain? I doubt Chris has any chance in the Worlds, so he might ride the Vuelta as preparation for next year's Tour, as he often says it's an important preparation. I'd guess that he'll either stage hunt or ride to a Top 5 on GC. I doubt he could...

    Le Tour 2018 stage 19:Lourdes - Laruns 200,5km

I don't think Froome has the legs atm. I think he'll pull for G if need be and will only attack if Roglic is distanced. Ultimately if you'd have offered Chris in January that he'd be found innocent and he's also win the Giro, I think that's a good year.

    Arnaud Démare discussion thread

I'm very happy for France & even Demare. But he really can't afford any more holding onto car insinuations & accusations. He's had far too many already. But again congrats to FDJ & that kit is still the best in the peloton!! <3

Froome's won the last 3 GTs. We always knew that he wasn't invisible and he's lost & had bad days at other GTs in the past. As a Froome fan, I'm not disappointed at all. I'm thankful for all he's done and look forward to his racing over the next few years. He'll be 1st or 2nd favorite for the...

Lol Demare wins....  Hey, all of those of you who hated on Froome re the salbutamol, better be freaking out right now. This situation is IMO is much much more severe and concerning.

Re: TBF whatever Lance says is probably not worth taking seriously. Since he will never have any credibility ever again. I rigorously recommend some of the other excellent cycling shows other than Lance's. Lance has about as much credibility as Breitbart, Fox News or the Daily Mail.

    Le Tour 2018 stage 17: BDL to Saint-Lary-Soulan 65k

I guess Froome's probably looking at 4th place now. Although I'm disappointed, It's been an incredible few years as a fan of his and I'm excited to see if he can do it next year. Stage 19 is going to be interesting now, does Froome go from distance?
