Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

I also think Vingegaard does actually quite well, given how hard they rode the Tour. But its probably also safe to say that Pogi deliberately had an extended rest to get another peak for world cup, while a Vuelta start wouldn’t allow to have a new buildup. So I wouldn’t overinterpret the result.

Teams & Riders Jonas Vingegaard thread: Love in Iberia

It hought so as well but on 12km even with an horrible - what can he lose realistically? 20-30s max.

Teams & Riders Giulio Pellizzari: Super Sub

Whats a really good sign for his future GC ambitions - in both, Giro and Vuelta (so far), he has become better, the longer the race went on. Some riders never can get their bodies to adapt to 3 week racing properly.

    Jonas Vingegaard: Something is Rotten

I had this thought as well already. Seems to have hit Vingo and Visma in general. Or its coincidence as you say. But not good if you face a team like UAE.

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Vine and Großschartner were and pulled at the beginning of the last climb, while Ayuso long couldnt be assed anymore. All while he obviously is stronger than those two.

Ayuso putting in the hard work again, when UAE pulls. Oh, wait...

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

I am honestly baffled by the amount of people siding with that self absorbed narcissistic ***. [deleted] He is good enough to completely dominate a stage from a break and not able to work for the team on climbs at all? Sure… And its not an episode but the absolute standard for him. As...

Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

Youngest Avenir winner? Only went back 20 years but there he is the youggest. Ofc, he turns 19 in a month and there are a few winners with 19 (Pogacar for example) but no one while still 18.

    Amazing domestique work today ;)

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Yeah, well, that remains to be seen - 6 stages, no work so far (although ofc not really needed). But I would be rather surprised to see him as a loyal domestique now for the rest of the race.

    What if Armstrong

Ullrich confessed doping in 1997 in an interview 2023. There is a 8 year statute of limitations. And now it gets a bit technical: Under US law time is prevented from running for limitation purposes, where a person has wrongfully concealed his own conduct and thereby prevented discovery of his...

    What if Armstrong

Armstrong provenly doped for the Tours he won. Thats why he was stripped of the wins. Not much more to the story.

All the best! Ofc I also cracked some jokes for the past years performances but career over - important that he gets fully fit and pain free again.

Well, yes, thats probably also a good description :D

    Juan Ayuso discussion thread

Ayuso was given *** 2 GCs as a leader in a team with a handful more loyal and more decorated riders. He is just an spoiled brat or whatever the cycling equivalent is, leaving the team down when its his turn to work and showing attitudes over and over again. Fortunately, he will not be given...
