I was thinking of riding up the race route that morning to Serein or now that I have read this - to CR. Or, because we are not watching Stages 18 and 19, we were going to get there a day or two early. Makes sense to park at Serein the day before (?) or someone else? Is there a problem with...

I should mention I'll have a load of heavy camera gear, so, it probably makes sense to park at Serein the night/day before? We're already doing L'Etape, but I wouldn't mind doing it the day before.
