I think that it is ridiculous to allow Contador to skate by using the ignorance defense. In order to use such a defense they should at first have to prove conclusively that the Clen came from tainted meat. Somebody correct me if I missed something but that has not been proven, has it?

Correct me if I am wrong, but has anyone who has come forward to defend Armstrong in the past month or so been an American citizen? Easy to make claims when you are not in the US and subject to a subpoena by the Novitsky grand jury.

I saw Kenny race quite a bit in Seattle when I lived and raced out there. He was definitely one of the best local guys 94-97 or so. I believe he raced bmx as kid and started road racing late.

My thoughts exactly. I only wear kits from teams I have belonged to/raced with. If others want to that is their business.

I started riding fixed gear this summer. When I went for a road ride I had forgotten how to freewheel. I have brakes on my fixed gear bike. I think I prefer it to riding with a freewheel now.

Because he is not a regular worker he is an elite athlete. If you could just as easily replace him with another cyclist who could win like he does that would be regular. Professional athletes get paid out of proportion to their contribution to society.

How about giving a time bonus to the best placed team at the end of the three weeks. They have the best team competition. Why not base it on the top 6 riders from each team and give the winning team a 2 minute time bonus. That would have to shake things up no?
