    Tour de France 2020 | Stage 16 (La Tour-du-Pin - Villard-de-Lans, 164 km)

Sagan just does not have it anymore. It was evident on that little climb, which would be perfect lunchpad for old Sagan.

    Tour de France 2020 | Stage 12 (Chauvigny - Sarran, 218 km)

If Alaphilippe wants to go with breakway, Sagan should just sit on his wheel and make DQS to think about their priorities. I would assume they would prefer stage win with Ala.

Teams & Riders Official Wout Van Aert thread

And who are these superstars for classics, from the same generation as MvDP and WvA? Nils Pollit, Kasper Asgreen? For hills there is obviously Alaphilippe, then we have old men like Valverde and Fulsang, GVA for cobbles, and Sagan somewhere lost between generations. We dont know if riders...

    2018 Strade Bianche, 1.UWT, 03.03.18

So far there was not bad year in terms of racing, but the fact that uphill finish in Sienna suits exactly the same guys who usually make a race could be a problem. Why bother with long huge efforts and then fight it out within small group of strongest when they could sit in peloton, have...

    Flandrien 2017

Based on results it should be GVA (PR was very impressive), but my vote goes to Gilbert. To see him leading up the peloton from 100+km to go and then just keep going - no doubt most impressive performance of the year. Also, he saved us from usual Ardennas week boredom.

2017 Worlds BERGEN, Norway, TTT, Sunday 17th Sept

Great TTT. Finally, timetrial without amateur level graphics on time checks and directing, probably thanks to experience from cross-country skiing broadcasts.

2017 Worlds BERGEN, Norway, TTT, Sunday 17th Sept

TTT is a lot more fun to watch when course is brutal like this and teams can't hold it together.

    Fernando Gaviria Discussion Thread

Dropped like a stone from lead group on the hill at Wallonie, it does not bode well for WC.

    The 2017 Tour of Britain 03/09 - 10/09/17 (2.HC)

He probably just didn't want to take any risks in shitty race like this so close to WC.

    San Sebastian/Klasikoa Race-Thread; Goodbye Ninja

Kwiatko should jump on Dumoulin wheel immediately. It was huge gamble and if Dumoulin had any legs it could be Valverde, Costa, Purito fiasco all over again.

    Tour de France 2017 Stage 14 : Blagnac > Rodez 181.5 km

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_z2GZ04Ptk 2 years ago GVA destroyed the field here and with Sagan out he should take it easily. Would be interesting to see if Stybar/Gilbert/Martin or Matthews can match him.

    Tour de France 2017 stage 9: Nantua > Chambéry - 181,5 km

Huge break to get away on first 2 climbs with many GC candidates domestics, Sky train destroyed already on first HC climb, carnage until end...one can only hope
