He needs another 150 points for that. That probably won´t happen if he doesn´t participate in the vuelta. WC rr+itt and lombardia gives 85 points, so he wil be slightly above 1200 points. If he will participate in the vuelta (and doesn´t crash out), he probably will.

We can whine as much as we can, but at this moment the only conclusion is that any type of mountain stage will lead to a predictable outcome.
