    Reactions from the peloton

Some are. Many just don't comment either way, they're not politicians. Yeah some riders act like d*cks. But to some on here riders are doping if they stay silent, or doping and playing the PR game if they say anything. I have to wonder sometimes what exactly would satisfy people...

    Rider Affidavits: How Much Truth?

I want to believe DZ's, but this is mainly because I like him. Which might be a bit naive/hopeful.

    Reactions from the peloton

So what would you prefer, the riders who won't accept it's true? They're not allowed to change their opinions? Pretty sure he eased up on the Lance-lovin' quite a while ago. As did the celebs/journos who were up his ar$e 3-4 years ago. There are some in the peloton who are complicit, some...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

To be fair to Wiggins, even when he was reported as loving Lance I seem to remember it being part of a longer article (think it was in a Wiggins book?) where he acknowledged that LA "divided opinion" and wasn't everyone's cup of tea. Still wasn't great but IIRC it was slightly more balanced...

Team Ineos (Formerly the Sky thread)

Well there's some thick ****ers at Sky if nothing else.

People aren't allowed to change their minds in the face of overwhelming evidence?

UCI in a panic over document in Friday's L'Equipe

l'equipe claim that in the article, but haven't actually seen the passports have they? Not at all. But a 'rating' is not like an absolute value is it? I'm not saying this wasn't a useful tool for the UCI and testers, and that those ratings weren't arrived at in an intelligent manner. But...

UCI in a panic over document in Friday's L'Equipe

Do you know that specifically? It might well be, but as far as I can tell these ratings seem quite subjective.

UCI in a panic over document in Friday's L'Equipe

This isn't a list of likely dopers though is it? It's a list of those who should be most targeted for testing? Thomas was getting good results last year, that he hadn't necessarily got before(IMO because of injury and focussing on the track, but there we are). Can't blame them for giving him...

UCI refuses to provide French prosecutor with positive doping probes

Apologies if this has been posted, but didn't see it anywhere. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/2007-tour-de-france-doping-case-dismissed-in-france?ns_campaign=news&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_source=cyclingnews&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0 Not really covering themselves in glory are they?

Is Vino doping again or clean?

The only impression he's given me is if he can find a way to do it, he will. Like a journo recently wrote, I don't care if he is clean, "I wish he wasn't here, and I wish he wasn't winning".

"Armstrong to blame for his own cancer"

Well who'd have thought it, a cage fighter being not too bright?

    Wiggins, a man in love!

Armstrong has 'increased awareness'. Mostly of himself. Now, when people find out I like cycling the next line is usually "Isn't that Armstrong wonderful, he's so old and he's still coming 3rd, and the cancer and...". Their knowledge of cycling is mainly limited to Armstrong's books, and the...

    Wiggins, a man in love!

His little tiffs with cycling weekly on twitter were a bit odd too. I seem to remember him having a right go at them for speculating that he'd move to team sky... ho ho.

    frank interview by david millar

His reaction to Landis' allegations left a bad taste too... I seem to remember Millar being very chummy with a certain other American rider. "He's reached the end of the road and I just find it disgusting," said Millar from his home training base in Girona, Spain. "He's a liar and a cheat and...
