    Touring saddle recommendations

Second the Sella SMPs. I use both the dynamic and Lite 209. Bike fitter put me on one and I've never looked back.

Live tracking on gps cycling computer

MapMyRide has offered this for years. It's the main reason I still use it.

    Dura-Ace built in power meters

I think the more companies in the market the better. Prices keep coming down and they've gone from being crazy expensive to just another accessory. I've had a Stages for two years and I really like having one. Obviously great for structured training, but it's also helpful to me when I'm blown...

    Saddle to handlebar drop

Re: Re: Throwing the BS flag. Yea, on flatter climbs, you may see Bernie on his big ring. I've also seem him riding compacts on some of the crazy climbs in the Vuelta and Giro. I can't think of any GT contenders today who climb in the same low cadence that say Hinault used (which was only...

Shimano Ultegra WH-6600 10-speed rear wheel to 11-speed

Re: Re: Oh interesting! I have not been able to adjust my 6800 front derailleur in such a way that I won't get rub in either highest or lower gear with my 6700 crankset. I simply couldn't figure out why.

    Disc brakes on road bikes...

Re: Re: Agree on the new Shimano rim brakes. Pretty impressive. New low friction cables give them a really light feel too. Of course hydros are pretty sweet too.

Question about 90s Gary Fisher Paragon BB

Thanks BK. We ended up taking this to the local shop and they were able to replace it. Updated it to a 1x with Shimano Zee and now it's good to go. Cool to see these old bikes still running about.

Question about 90s Gary Fisher Paragon BB

I was working on a friend's old early 90s Gary Fischer Paragon MTB, and it's got some funky threadless bottom bracket in the steel frame. I pulled the crank off and seals, but I can't see anyway to get the axle out. There are no circlips to remove. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

    sram wireless question

Don't they need a pro team who'll use it first? ;-) The reviews have actually been pretty good so far though. I thought it was interesting that they asked the question of why e shift levers should somehow mimic mech shifting (two buttons per lever).

Big Firm vs Boutique - Who do you prefer

Assos for me. Their next gen bib is even better than the previous version.

    Tejay Van Garderen Discussion Thread

I agree. Probably explains BMC signing Porte for next year (who's still shaky IMO). Tejay seems to be good at steady pace riding (though not as good as the best), but he doesn't do well with accelerations.

Commentary on TNT and other WB brands

Kirby is head and shoulders above Liggett and Sherwin. I'm in the US and have gone to the trouble of buying a VPN just so I can watch Eurosport and not ever have to hear those other two again.
