Paul Seixas: Tour de France Winner 2031

On short efforts first weeks he might possibly already have an edge. But on the long climbs, and in week three? Pretty confident in Jv for the tour THIS year.

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

Rather that teammates, i think it could simply be that remco and seixas will together not too far behind pog over la redoute. In a chase they are both the types that will ride full to catch up.

What place will Remco get in RVV?

Really hyped by this. In isolation, I think he could have a better shot than mvdp to follow pog up the oude. And even if he is surely going to struggle on the koppen and pater, and maybe with positioning as well, hes such a dsrk hirse with his stamina and flat power, he could easily come back. I...

Ronde van Vlaanderen 2026, monument, April 5 (men's)

And it came to pass in those days that a voice cried in the wielerflits, saying: Prepare ye the pave, make straight the paths upon the bergs. Behold! HE cometh with power and great glory; and the darkness of Pog comprehendeth it not.

In my mind it's simple, there's no way to follow pog on the final two laps. After 215 km, with 80 km already in the hills, you come to a stretch including koppen, taien, kruis and 2x oude + pater in 40 km's. No new strategy or perfecting the execution will make a difference there.

It is the other way around. They all took the risk, gambling that someone else would close the gap to increase their own chance of winning. So the all risked loosing to gain a better chance of winning. That's bike racing. of course it looked ridiculous, but in reality they were basically doing...

Teams & Riders The Remco Evenepoel is the next Eddy Merckx thread

Msr i've no doubt he could. He can perform like pidcock on those climbs, and they can not in any circumstance let him go on the flats. His sprint is also good enough to give him a shot. I think the biggest issue is to be in position at the bottom of the cipressa. In Flanders i just dont think...

I know what you mean in terms of age, te future etc, but for seixas to even reach jv level is still a good way to go and would be a huge success for him (imagine jv's carrer in a pog-less world..). My point is, jv is so far ahead of the rest that it's still years before anyone surpasses jonas...
