Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I reckon Peter Sagan could be a tour and grand tour contender. Thoughts? Anyone agree?
I'm watching stage 6 and he is a f*cking freight train. Attacks with Nibali and Rodriguez up the final climb and looks comfortable as anything.
There's a race coming up which is raced over gravel sections. I have a set of Shimano C24 wheels which I'm going to use. They can run tubeless and I'm keen to use tubeless due to the likelihood of pinch flats on the course. What would you recommend I get?
When I used my Continental Attack/Force duo, I found the riding to be really tough, due to the difference in tyre sizes from front to back. Riding a Tufo Clincher-Tubular (21mm) was really easy to handle with an Attack on the front. On track and road (400m concrete track) it was really simple to...
I ride a 2011 Felt FC (stock frame for an F5, F4 and F3). I had a 2010 Felt F1 Sprint that wasn't manufactured properly. Every time I pedalled hard, like in races and doing efforts, the wheel pulled to the right and gouged out a bit of the chain stay and deemed the tyre useless by wearing out...
Yup, I meant clinchers. Whoops! I get the problem of the tyres being too wide and rubbing on my chainstays (yesterday, I was riding out to racing and my 25c Continental Attack wore down and punctured) so I need a thinner tyre to stop this happening.
I've ridden Vittoria Corsa CXs 23c...
My friend recently got an SRM. It previously had one owner....an HTC-Colombia rider. Where are you able to buy SRMs after the season where riders have to give them back? Is this possible?
Right-o: I'm in a new team this year and I have the choice between 2 bikes to ride this year. I really couldn't give a toss about the look of it; the only thing I'm worrying about is the performance and stiffness of each bike. Which would be the best one to go for? Price is no issue; I can get...
Looking for new training tyres. I've tried Maxxis Refuses and Specialized Armadillos, but I'm looking for something new but just as good to try. Any suggestions?
Me, I hate having to do this job. I use the hose or water blaster (not on full, just a quietish stream) to clean it quick. But, what is the best and quick way?
True, but like Hushovd last year he was consistent with his sprinting, always top 3 or 4 on every stage, but climbed over on the mountain stages to get intermediate sprints.
I was thinking that maybe the new kid on the block could actually win it. He has the kick to win sprint stages, plus he has the ability to climb over the mountains where riders like Hushovd and Cavendish can't.
Yeah, the thing is Maxxis Refuse don't give me a comfortable ride. I went for a ride yesterday on the hills and they were just awful. They're horrible to ride. My Rubinos were great, but the price to get another pair is quite high.
