This thread should start to go into hibernation soon considering it's finally over with Tinkoff unless they force him to ride Lombardia like they did with the Vuelta.

@DFA123 Uh no! It's not a guess,it's a fact. At this point in the game there's no use in talking about what's already done. If you say the result would've been the same fine but I feel it would've been different. But you're right in your last sentence which is why he's loyal to riding a 54x11.

The secret was all in the gear, unfortunately Alberto rode with the wrong one and gave away precious time.

@ Carols: It is easy for words to get lost in translation. Already read a couple of tweets were people are acting as if he's lying when it was the doctor who said he needs the four weeks of recovery. And some of them where even from Spanish speaking people! So it's all good! :)
