Anyone have any good ideas about how we can maintain pro cycling without a dependence of fossil fuels? ie. driving cars everywhere and taking planes?
Given that the oil is going to start becoming pretty expensive in the not to near future, it could be a serious problem
I've had a sore throat on and off (in intensity) for the last 10 days but kept up low intensity riding. Should I keep doing the low intensity if it is only very mild? Or can I afford to get back to normal training?

I had a similarly frustrating experience but only for 3 months- It felt like my knee was giving way whenever I pushed hard. I did so many core exercises but only a few were effective

I'm only 18 so my HR shouldn't really be as low as 183 I would think. Maybe it was just lack of intense efforts. I don't think the last one was a false peak as I used the same protocol and HR monitor.

I just did a max test this evening and could only get to 183 BPM, when about a year ago I managed to get to 197. My power output was slightly better than last time, but I felt crap and think I could have done a whole lot better. My HR even went down towards the end of the test
