Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

I disagree . . . the players in this farce are a direct reflection of how business and government operate in the land of milk and honey.

Official Lance Armstrong Thread: Part 3 (Post-Confession)

I have often wondered what TH's toilet looks like, and more importantly, how he and BS have not been disbarred for the stuff they did! For me the worst was suing Emmy . . . I mean on the best financial day in her life, if she rubbed two rocks together I doubt seriously she would have been able...

Lance appearing on Oprah next week

In the case of LA, 'emotional' isn't worth the paper it is printed on. This whole charade is a managed event in any attempt to limit his losses and money. I would, however, not be too surprised if Nike and Trek take him back into their marketing fold . . . it really is a sad day.

Hell Has Frozen Over: Lance "Considering" Admitting Guilt

    Armstrong's financial situation

Not enough "probing" has been done as it relates to the operations and tactics of CS&E's role in all of this; specifically, the role's of Knaggs and Stapleton in all of this, because Wonderboy did not think of all this s**t himself. But of course, without LA's wins, CS&E would not have risen to...

McQuaid and his many conflicts of interest / relationship with Armstrong

They both need to get back on their bikes and shed some kilos . . . pathetic . . . time and gravity is already exacting its toll on both of them, and the real s**t has not even hit the fan yet.

    Lance Speaks...quotes MLK

WOW, JUST WOW . . . the guy has always been as easy to read as a cheap novel, and this just confirms it with the USDA's official "seal of approval" stamp. The ****** bag has never let me down in this regard.

Where is Sally Jenkins these days ?

Just another douped glass-eyed fan (girl) that was sold a bill of goods by one of the greatest con artists of the last 100 years. As P.T. Barnum once said . . . “There's a sucker born every minute” . . . and . . . “Without promotion something terrible happens . . . Nothing!”

    Next move = UCI

I have to agree completely, TW brought the dot com era of Wall Street to the TDF and all of the corruption that went with it. His name has really not been mentioned much outside of the Clinic. We all know that he is deep in this, and behind much of what has happened, along of course with CSE in...

How soon until Vaughters quits cycling?

If we rid the sport of all dopers, then 80% of the pro-P would be gone, thus leaving all the non-dopers, and without dope, 80% of them would have to drop out of any GT, thus leaving the remaining 20% truly suspect, thereby keeping Pareto Principle (also known as the 80–20 rule) solidly intact ...

    What Happens Next?

They really need to, because they have far more troubling corporate issues to be dealing with — like trying to figure how to save their company in these changing times where they are basically irrelevant — than having to manage this PR nightmare! And since the CEO stepped down last week and...

And Nike, Trek, Oakley's response after all of this?

I will believe it when it happens; plus, LA is not a child molester. The fact that MV is back in Nike's stable of "branding pimps" tells you everything you need to know about Nike.

And Nike, Trek, Oakley's response after all of this?

You are smoking dope, BD, cause Nike ain't going nowhere . . . they stand for EVERYTHING LA stands for as a company. And don't expect Trek, Oakley or Giro to do anything differently either . . . not sure about the rest though.
