MVDP and WVA vs the breakaway today. Trek should keep it under a tight reign until the intermediate.

Nothing extinguishes bad blood more then beating said rider by 45 plus minutes and his leader by 6 plus minutes.

UAE were trying for a little while but didn’t have the team to control it so then just started hoping he wouldn’t win.

Jorgenson isn’t any kind of bait, he’s 32’09” back. He’d need a huge Oscar Pereiro break to catch back up.

Looks like Quickstep is happy they brought Merlier.

Pogacar was 11th or 12th it looked like over the sprint. Definitely could have did better if he wanted to.

After the last two days the breakaway should win. Only way it doesn’t is if either Visma or Bora, Arkea, Uno-X, and Picnic try and finish Evenepoel.

It’ll be hard to win tomorrow with Vingegaard ming room for second and most likely all the teams going for the breakaway if Adam is going to climb well he should go in the break with Politt and Wellens to see what happens. For Pogacar’s green quest he’d need this to come back together.

Netserk coming back with that as their PFP would be great.

Roglic with a good first checkpoint time and almost no coverage.

Phil is just getting more and more confused. Had no idea Jorgenson beat the time of Plapp at the first check and was still waiting for him to come up to the checkpoint for like 5-10 seconds.

Roglic was shown on the finish line camera coming up and that was it really. Didn’t even really see much of him on the climb especially after Lipo left.
