We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
Really sad because of this news. I read an article some time ago about Gabriel Batistuta in which he said how painfull it's this problem when you have no cartilage in your knee...
I think it's good for him not racing in May and instead taking a rest after Ardennes and then going on altitude for some weeks until Tour of Luxembourg.

St Up Comedian Cav will stop laughing when he realize Uran Uran is sole OPQS leader TdF 2014. Get some bloody bottels!!!
If i recall correctly Andy said at the beginning of the year that during the winter he couldn't train properly because he wasn't completely healed of his injury. Now with a proper training in the off season and a high level of motivation i trust he will return to the top level. Look at Aaron...
He said this summer that he hopes he will get a contract for 2014 with Trevigiani, who want to move up to continental level. I saw a list with some of the riders which have a contract with them for 2014 and he didn't figure there.
I hope Bertie will go all or nothing on the stage to Grand Bornard. Saxo to rip the peloton to pieces on Glandon and Madeleine and then attack with the likes of Alberto, Andy, Rolland, Nieve, Cadel, Talansky, Navarro. :D
Edit: Oh, and Andy takes the win.
