Too early fo Sagan, so Piti over Vroom for versatility and consistency (unfortunately, could not operate over 2000m, otherwise the GT palmares would be much better).

any predictions for surprise names?
Not predicting anything, but nowadays a classic riders can be actually transformed to win GT (if your name is G)... not sure about the "same year" thing.
hats off Wallays, he managed to persist with 10-15 sec in front of FDJ doms for quite some time until the group was decimated by attacks... and Terpstra quite impressive (two punctures, slow repairs, and still managed to return upfront and attack).
come on, he had, but his objective today was to grab more points than Rogla... and he managed to trick him into chasing and attacking to lose as much energy as possible - mission accomplished
This is one serious SKYtrain, eating almost the whole minute gap of the break in a matter of few kilometers... so, finally Egan? (and btw, will they try to SkyTrain the big one off on Saturday?)
They see me roglin', they hatin'... now even Woods calls "robocop Roglic" a fav for Lombardia. https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/woods-tips-robocop-roglic-as-a-favourite-for-il-lombardia/
what a battle on that climb... impressive Woods to trade attacks with others all the time and then managed to distance Valverde in the last 300m to avoid being outsprinted... hats off
