Teams & Riders Jonas Vingegaard thread: Love in Iberia

Pog in a league of his own. Vingegaard is still levels above the rest. If you look at the splits Pog and Vinge went with a brutal positive split. Pog was more than one minute ahead of Riis early in the climb. Vingegaard nuked himself trying to match Pog' pace and paid for it in the final 3-4km...

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

As far as team strength goes this was the most dangerous stage. From now on it is basically a pure w/kg test vs Vingegaard. Five mountain finishes and the TT.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025 Stage 10: Ennezat – Le Mont-Dore (165.3k)

AYates with the classic Poels prep. On pace for a third week super peak. Probably going to be a top five climber on stages 18 and 19.

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

Jorgensson could be five minutes ahead of Pog after tommorrow and still wouldn't be a threat. Too many hard mountain finishes left. It's all about Vingegaard. No one else matters.

Tour de France Stage 4: Amiens – Rouen (174.2k)

Group split on the descent. Gall and Lipowitz ended up on the wrong side of the split.

Tour de France Tour de France 2025, Stage 3: Valenciennes – Dunkerque (173.8k)

TTs only. Anything else is too big of a risk.

Teams & Riders Tadej Pogačar discussion thread

Looked like he was on donkey duty. Spending most of the stage between the cars (like many others). The usual rain jacket chaos.

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

And Wiggins was a crucial part of the leadout on two stages. Can we expect the same from Roglic?

Giro d'Italia Giro D'italia 2025 Stage 16: Piazzola sul Brenta – San Valentino

McNulty successfully defending his top 15 GC position. Finished s.t. as Majka.

Giro d'Italia Giro D'italia 2025 Stage 16: Piazzola sul Brenta – San Valentino

That's not about the route. Simply about the level of competition. With Pog or Vingegaard in the race the story of the stage would be about them being selfish because they caught the Astana boys on the climb instead of gifting a stage to the breakaway.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2025 Stage 15: Fiume Veneto – Asiago

Hard to tell what is going on. He nuked the first TT. Also was the strongest GC rider in the second TT. Climbing legs just aren't there.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2025 Stage 15: Fiume Veneto – Asiago

Galibier last year was a clown show as well. What I need for max entertainment is another GT with Ayuso and Almeida.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2025 Stage 15: Fiume Veneto – Asiago

Good opportunity for a Guillaume Martin style GC move. Hopefully at least one out Poole, Piganzolli, Harper or Rubio gets into the breakaway. Pipe dream would be another attack from Ineos. Maybe Bahrain.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d'Italia 2025, stage 13: Rovigo – Vicenza, 180km

Del Toro positioned himself on his own when the rest of the GC guys weren't able to do it with at least 1-2 helpers. With 2km to go he was isolated and not even among the top 20. When the climb starts he is on Pedersen's wheel. Probably wasted a lot of energy to get back into position.

Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

If he can reach his Vuelta 23/24 level on Finestre he doesn't need any other climb. But that's a big IF. Not to even mention that he needs to defend himself again half the UAE team on a near endless list of stages that are perfect for big breakaways and raids.
