Just wondering what peoples thoughts will be on Tejay Van Garderen's season will be. New team focusing on what he wants to do. Help Cadel and lead races like Cali or Paris Nice. Then maybe when Cadel retires take over the leadership role. So will Tejay be a hit or a flop this season?

Do you not think Nibali is a great descender? :eek: He was I think 1 minute behind Contador on a stage in the Giro last year (maybe more). Caught back up quickly and then got away on a different stage from AC who isn't the best but also isn't a bad descender.

Fair enough yes after climbs but Andy was rubbish after short climbs and lost minutes into Gap.

Sorry but Garzelli isn't a GC rider. He was 26th overall. He might have been but not anymore. Nibali tried from Passo Giau but failed.

I think your being harsh. Yeah in the Pyrenees he was stupidly annoying. With the "attacking." Therefore, his attack was even more of a surprise. Caught everyone out apart from Rolland (if you listen to his DS could have gone with Andy). Of course Evans realised that he was going to lose time...
