    Tyre Size Question

Hi, Appreciate any help. I'm looking to order new tyres and tubes for one of my bikes but am a little confused over sizes. The current tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Plus and the only size I can see on them is "28 X 1.3/8 X 1.5/8". Anyone know what this equates to in the more commonly used...

The rider's tribute ride to a colleague and friend: Giro d'Italia Stage 4

+1 Thank You. From being a long time observer of this forum I'm beginning to think that some of the posters believe Pro Cycling to be some sort of computer game populated by robotic riders ready to attack at will and ride when necessary with a bottomless pit of energy and power. Now it...

    Pedals: Look vrs Shimano SL

Hi, Anyone have an opinion of which of these is best for weekly 50/60KM spins on a road bike. Currently have SPD's as use same shoes as I use on commuting bike. However don't find SPD's comfortable for longer spins and looking to get new shoes and pedals for road bike. Any opinions appreciated.

April 29th, Tour de Romandie - Stage 3: Thierrens - Neuchatel, 165.7 km

Today's stage already finished 14.30GMT? What time did it start? May be wrong but I thought the Eurosport schedule had coverage starting at 15.00GMT when I set it to record last night

    Cycling Podcasts

For cycling podcast fans, worth checking out a relatively new podcast - Flammecast (http://www.flammecast.com & available on iTunes). Excellent pro-cycling weekly cast which is going from strength to strength. Episode 5 has an interview with Gerard Vroomen, co-founder of Cervelo which is very...

    TV Coverage of Vuelta

Completely agree that Eurosport are great to have and without them we would generally have no coverage. I enjoy Harmon in general - he's easy to listen to even on long flat stages when making conversation must be difficult! My gripe is really with coverage of the Vuelta this year which I...

    TV Coverage of Vuelta

That I can't agree with - Mr Sean Kelly!! What that man doesn't know about bike racing ain't worth knowing.

    TV Coverage of Vuelta

I found the TV coverage in Ireland (British Eurosport) to be quite poor. Firstly the Spanish TV feed was at times very badly shot with inaccurate graphics and crazy editing, whereby we often missed the action with the GC riders at the business end of stages. Still thats what is provided so we...

    Vuelta a España - Stage 16: Gijón - Cotobello 181.4 km

At the tour Roche finished down 0.59 on Contador and 0.28 on A. Schleck. He's no world beater but he's improving. Can't see why he couldn't take time out of Rodriguez and mosquera. Whatever way he's having a great Vuelta and very proud of him.

    Cycling Podcasts

Have searched for and listened to a few cycling podcasts over the past months. There are a few American based ones out there which are ok but not really my cup of tea. I'd have to say the Velocast (iTunes or http://www.velocast.co.uk) is superb and during the tour (when they went nightly) became...

Tour De France Dream Stage Structure

Would be absolute carnage on the flat stages but superb idea nonetheless. Would enjoy watching the autobus sprinting up the top of a MTF.
