Indeed. And for what it's worth Almeida actually had the best time on the climb itself, with Grégoire 2nd 7 second slower.

Grégoire climbs well but I think he will lose a lot of time in the final MTT to the best riders who finished in the GC group yesterday. I'd expect him to lose 2 minutes on Almeida for example if the later is in the same form as last year. If the ITT had been flatter I'd have rated his chances...

I'm curious how Grégoire will fare when it comes to GC given that there's no extremely hard stage, but I think he will he will drop hard in one of the tougher climb. I'm still unsure on how to rate Vauquelin as he never really performed at World Tour level in mountain stages. What makes this...
