This is a ridiculous comment. You shoud be embarrassed.
There. I can write a pointless comment too.
What ASO did today was the ridiculous reaction. They should be embarrassed. When Flecha and Hoogerland were on a breakaway and were hit by a tv car (don't remember what year that was), ASO did...
Awesome! Now Froome must go full mutant to take the yellow. This is great for the race and will show how fast Froome can actually ride. He can't just take it easy and hang on with the other GC contenders, like he would have done if today hadn't happened. The best thing to happen to this year's Tour.

Wouldn't it be great if the rest of the media was as critical as Off The Ball, especially the cycling media. It isn't hard, but the media doesn't even try. There are no journalists working anymore, just stenographers and idolizing fans.
Re:
I don't know how you can call it tailwind when you look at the route and weather data from that day. Here's the map and the weather data from Arette, which is the closest town.
The wind direction was from South-southeast. If anything, it was headwind mostly.
Ross Tucker to chat on Off The Ball in 19.45 Dublin time at newstalk.com, in case you didn't notice his twitter post and are interested.

Nationalism is right there with religion, two delusions that poison the world. How many wars have been fought because of those two? How many atrocities committed? I absolutely loath nationalism. It's as disgusting as it is stupid.
Re: Re:
But you just said flat out that using data gained by "stealing" is piss poor behaviour. Period. You weren't discriminating whether one is whistleblowing or not. How was anyone reading supposed to know that you had exceptions to that opinion.
And I would count Froome leaks as...
Re: Re:
So true...unfortunately. The problem with democracy is that it needs an intelligent, well informed and attentive population to work. And that's just not possible with half of the population having an IQ under 100.
Re:
Surely you can do them both. It's not either or. They should have started the financial punishments decades ago. It's been so obvious for a looong time that doping is financially beneficial for the athlete. My guess is the powers-that-be don't even want to touch the financial side of...
Re: Re:
For anti-doping to work at all, they'll have to change the sanctions and make the dopers pay back all the money they made with interests. Now the risk vs reward is so heavily tilted towards the reward that it's a total no-brainer to dope. The risks are minimal while the reward huge. It...
Re:
That's what is one of the biggest problems in antidoping, that the dopers get to keep their ill gained money. They should be forced to pay back everything with interests.
