Made me laugh when one of the GCN commentators said Hugh Carthy was looking classy when he was attacking on stage 1 of tour of the Alps. I think Only Froome looked more uncomfortable and less elegant lol
Yeah I recon focus on being good for the Vuelta and then maybe Ill Lombardia or something. Although it would be tough for him to miss the tour he's not going to be in top shape so no point really.
Alaphilippe surely. 3 big crashes in 3 races he would have been in contention for, none of his own making. Always seems to be in the wrong place when people go down (or when idiot team drivers decide to accelerate through non existent gaps).
Looks like a good route. There are certain 'activists' claiming there should be longer stages and more stages if only to compare with the mens route more favourably. I personally think 12 stages would be about right with one rest day...
