Based on the 3D-animation on the Tour's website it looks more like the route will go north of Beziers maybe through Herepian and Bedarieux and not coastline.

I'm speculating now but I believe the ASO knows at least where the intermediate sprints are located already at this early time in "non decisive stages" such as stage 11.

About a week ago we got to know the route for the Tour in 2016, but I want to know the exact route, including details about what cities the cyclists will pass through during the stages. When are we expected to get these details? I'm particularily interested in stage 11, Carcassone-Montpellier.

As far as I can see from the 3D flyover I agree with you. So I take there is not any detailed information yet about cities they pass through. I'm curious since I will be staying in that area some 50 km north of Beziers during 12-15 July.

I'm interested in knowing which cities stage 11 (Carcassone-Montpellier) will pass through during the 2016 TdF. Anyone here who got detailed information regarding that specific stage?
