Marc Soler got muddy but it didn't stick. Golden boy Pog remains Mister Suspicious and cycling's getting even faster.

Coppi won in 1952 by 28 and a half minutes. Maurice Garin won in 1903 by nearly 3 hours. So obviously, they're both way better than Pog and Vinnie. Nibali sandbagged to a 7 min 37 sec win in 2014, so he's better too. Can't argue with the numbers.

I'm sticking with Philipsen. He has his leadout man with him now. It's possible that MvdP goes too far with the leadout and nukes the entire field (it would be slightly better than a Pog solo because he doesn't do it in every race he enters).

Vinnie would rather win the Giro than the tour in 2026. Nibali said the Giro was as big as the tour for him. Yes, the tour is the biggest race but not bigger than a good combination of the other races (also it's debatable whether winning the tour is harder than me losing those 5 kilos)...

My doctor says I have to lose 5 kilos. I grew up having to fight for my food so this is going to be difficult. True story. I'm going all serious for a week.

Looking forward to this. I have no skin in the game so I don't care who wins. I'll be cheering for Philipsen.

New tdf or new winner of the tdf. Ambiguous to say the least.

Considering the circumstances, I voted for Remco. Multiple votes are allowed even though there can be only one next tdf winner. I like it. Is it the winner of the next new tdf in July or the next first time winner of the tdf? Does the spearmint lose its flavour on the bed post overnight?

I'm deeply offended.
