Seixas blew everyone away in the first couple of days. We often see this trend, whereby the leader of the race with a big buffer, is less dominant in the latter stages. He can afford to take his foot off the gas a bit. It is an absolute compliment to Seixas, that we criticise his performance...

What is their reason for hating Seixas?? Jealous because of his talent? Suspicions about his performance? We know that part of the reason we haven't had a French Tour winner is because they have such a strict anti doping stance.

That's a possible take...... we may see two decent length TTs in the Tour next year. I won't be so optimistic to say 100km overall but 60km-80km would be a start.

On Procyclingstats he's ranked at 7 all time. He is about to catch and pass Valverde. The likes of Hinault, Kelly and Moser are within sight. Merckx at no1 seems a bit away still.

So based on the video, what can we gather that may indicate he has a motor propelling him forward? This doesn't resemble Cancellara style suspicions.

Well done Remco..... a very good result. How can he win a one day race with Pog??? Essentially he has to look for one day races that he doesn't do.

Pogacar will win 5 monuments this year and the Tour.......... might just casually throw in the WC there as well
