To be fair he held well. When he was dropped on the Soulor, I could never imagined that he would finish 7th on the stage. A credible enough result in the circumstances. He should perform well tomorrow. Overall, the podium might be out of reach. Lipowitz riding very well and Onley too.

Hoping Remco can do well today. If he can finish 3rd out of the GC favourites and within 2mins of Pogacar he's doing well. He can't let Lipowitz, Jorgenson or Roglic out climb him here or it doesn't bode well for the bigger mountain stages.

I'm no expert on these bikes but what is the speculation with the bikes he uses? Does he perform better when on a certain bike model?

Do you think Remco can stay with the aliens today? I think there will be roughly 15-20 riders left on the last climb with 30-45secs between them.

He will almost certainly lose more time on stage 2 and stage 4. He just can't keep with the aliens. So there is zero chance of him wearing yellow. He might get a top 10 this year if he doesn't throw in the towel like in the 2023 Vuelta.
