Nowhere near as successful a Tour for QS this year compared to when they took Cav. More to winning in Tours than looking fast in the spring it seems.

Hannah Walker is annoying. That is all.

    Giro d'Italia 2022 Giro d'Italia, Stage 9: Isernia – Blockhaus 189 km (Sunday, May 15th)

Bike exchange will be very keen to give someone else the jersey without Yates having to muck up - presumably Ineos will be riding to prevent that though.

Nice to get a non-threatening rider in position to babysit the jersey for him now. Very different prospect to previous Giro's now he's the top TTer present, just has to not get dropped rather than wear himself out attacking.

2021 World Championships in Flanders - Time Trials

Gutted to discover this is actually just a combined time of 2 TTT events rather than an actual mixed TTT. Would have been much more interesting even if it meant the women never did a turn and clung on for dear life.

Well that all seems highly believable.

Ineos / Sky have been consistently awful for British cycling - derailed Cav's career putting him a distance 2nd to the Wiggins farce, then used Froome to shaft Yates at the Giro.

Tour de France Tour de France 2021, Stage 18: Pau – Luz Ardiden, 129.7 km

Looking like 36 minutes. He's losing around 1 minute per KM of climbing so as it stands he has a reasonable buffer in case the final climb is ridden a bit quicker at the sharp end.

Tour de France Tour de France 2021, Stage 18: Pau – Luz Ardiden, 129.7 km

Cav 6 minutes behind peloton after 7km of real climbing, with 19km of climbing left, so looking pretty controlled. I certainly hope so as there is a 5 man QS group a minute behind anyone else.

Tour de France Tour de France 2021, Stage 18: Pau – Luz Ardiden, 129.7 km

A few climbs so far they've had the gradient of each group up on the screen at times and they were all 12% or more on each occasion. Maybe every group is always in a hairpin... It's really just childish, but if they think double digit gradients are so impressive you'd think they'd find some more...

ASO sticking with their utter fiction gradients. 12% at this tour is little more than a false flat if you believed the graphics.
