    What Happens Next?

Livingston testified before the grand jury. He retired from the sport 10 years ago and did not need to talk to USADA.

    The Mike Anderson story

I wish Mike well, not that he needs it. I stand by everything I wrote, but I am stepping aside because I have nothing new to add. I just think that of all of Lance's transgressions, Mike's interaction with him does not really seem that scandalous. I don't think Lance owes him anything for...

    The Mike Anderson story

Sorry, RR - I know you know the inside scoop on most everything, but you are off base here. If I had a dollar for every bike shop guy who had an idea for another bike shop, I'd be rich. Mike was unhappy at BSS, and he took a gig with Lance. He brought shoes and swag, if you wore a size 43...

    The Mike Anderson story

Agree with all of this. As far as Mike dreaming up the plan for MJ's - I would need a little more proof. There are lots of shops in Austin, and MJ's was not the first to have showers or a coffee shop. Besides, Lance doesn't even own his own bike shop. Austin Ventures, CSE, et al do.

    The Mike Anderson story

He can of course write whatever he wants, but I don't know that anything that comes out at this point, even Tyler's book, is going to change anyone's view. He was either an a-hole doper or a cancer fighting hero. And if you ask most people who don't log on to bike forums (the other 99.9999% of...

    The Mike Anderson story

Having "some intimate knowledge of Lance" is a lot different than knowing him well. You may know Anne O., but I can assure you that she does not know more than the average punter who hangs out on bike forums.

    The Mike Anderson story

That's funny, just adding a different perspective, and apparently here that means you are working for Lance. Reading what he paid Mike though, I think I'll pass. I believe everything Mike wrote, I just don't think the article serves any broader purpose or offers the reader anything new. If...

    The Mike Anderson story

Exactly, assistants are disposable items to celebrities. This was never going to end any differently.

    The Mike Anderson story

No forgiving necessary, he is welcome to write whatever he wants or needs to. I just think that it is less black and white than, oh, if Lance would have just come through on that promise, then my life would be perfect. To still be moaning about this so many years later, is just a little odd...

    The Mike Anderson story

But we all assume Lance is a jerk, so Mike's letter does not bring up anything new, and it only adds to the myth that this whole "witch hunt" is about disgruntled people bringing Lance down. Of all the accounts I've heard, this is the one packed with the most he-said she-said BS. Aside...

    The Mike Anderson story

I really hope this is the final catharsis Mike needs to get on with his life. I think Lance is guilty as charged of being a doper and a jerk, but this article just makes Mike seem like a whiner. I get that the job was not all it was cracked up to be, but I am sure it beat working on...

Former mechanic Anderson predicts trouble ahead for Armstrong

+1. Anyone who knew Mike knew he had no axe to grind, and rarely speaks about any of this because he truly has moved on. He was not some star struck hanger-on, just a good mechanic and solid guy who got an opportunity to travel a bit more and get some good experience.

@tpletch the piece was spot on

I did not see said thread. Which one is it?

@tpletch the piece was spot on

This is Lance tweeting to 'tpletch' about an article that calls Lance a doper, but also calls out Novitzky for being above the law. From the piece: Is there anyone over the age of 10 who truly believes that a multi-cycle chemo patient with one nut is steaming all over the Alps without some...

    Tyler's Book

Unfortunately for Lance, KL does not care that much about saving Wonderboy's skin. He does just fine for himself.
