G Thomas didn't ride the TDF in 2012, and Kiryienka was riding that TDF for Movistar

In Froome's autobiography, he talked quite a bit about why he thought it was a mistake, back in 2011, for him to be made to work for Wiggins at the Vuelta while he was in the red jersey. It would be hypocritical of him now to expect that Thomas should unconditionally work for him now.

I think we're more likely to see Castroviejo at the Tour where there is a TTT rather than at the Giro

Sky paid the price taking Doull instead of Poels, not sure why they did that. They probably wouldn't have beaten Sunweb though unless they had both Poels and a fit Thomas.
