    any advice for training exercises?

    For Crits, I like two sets of 20x15x15 Recover for 5 minutes repeat. Warmup for 15 - 20 minutes. Do 20 fifteen second intervals at max intensity, recover for 15 seconds. Hold back a little on the first 2 or 3 work intervals. HR monitors will not be helpful for intervals less than 3 minutes...
