Why would he? He's probably the one who leaked it to El País in the first place.

According to RTP he's having a look to see if he has a case against Movistar for the unfair dismissal. As he points out, they've stuck by riders with worse against them in the past. Marque as an unproven guy at that level was easy for them to cut ties with when the positive became public - a decision that was surely made even easier for them when the Alonso-Euskaltel deal falling through meant there were some good riders in the marketplace desperate for a contract that they could probably get for the same price.

Pretty much certain Unzué has no interest in hiring him again. The guy's been off the road for a year as well. His talk is that he has three options from a racing perspective. He is interested in picking up an Asian team, maybe in China or Taiwan, to race the circuit out there with the likes of Oroz, Guardiola and Pujol at events like Langkawi, Taiwan, Tour of Japan, Qinghai Lake and similar, also has spoken to some teams in North America. The other option is to return to Portugal; he says he's happy to do that and has enjoyed his time there (his whole career has been in Portugal), but after a year on the sidelines he wants to explore the options of travelling and racing elsewhere in the world as well before he makes a decision.

AS someone else posted, he claims to have had a TUE for it. Which as we know, is all good out of competition to use, and even for certain things can still be in your system if you have the TUE.

"The rider Alex Marque has fended off accusations of doping during the Tour of Portugal last claiming he had a prescription and betamethasone authorization to take the substance to be detected in a control of the Portuguese round.

In a statement to the news agency EFE, Galician rider ensures that betamethasone "is a glucocorticoid used in medicine for its immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory properties, is an allowed substance, only seen limited use in competition and appears contained in the Prohibited List of the World Anti-59 ". Mark says he was infiltrated twice with this substance to enhance his knee problems.

"My team and ICU had full knowledge of the use of this substance, as it appears justified in the relevant TUE (Therapeutic Use)" says in its press cyclist, also ensures that there was for his part "hiding some intention." "When I was subjected to doping control, I orally communicated to the competent commissioner and even reflected myself have written on the form control way," says Mark.

Galician recalled in his statement along the round that claimed victory had to be served "at least twice" by medical career for their knee problems. "My relatives and closest people were aware that the situation was critical of my knee, which hid the media not to arouse alarm at my opponents."
