Well the binding on my Kennedy Brothers Account of the 88 Giro & Tour has finally broken so I took the time to scan some pics of the good old days for you.

Well there's the problem.

In order to scan them the book has to come apart. 1983-86 & 89-90 are still pretty much intact. 84 looks shaky though!! Later?

I love the picture of Van der Velde in the snow, during the Giro.

1984 was getting tatty

1984 Tour first. Fignon managing to make a sweatband look cool, somehow! But check out Angel "Pimp" Arroyo's white shoes & tricked out Pinarello.

From the same pic (apologies but my scanner is only small) Pablo Wilches who turned Pro to ride the Tour!!

84 Giro. I don't see any hint of the peloton waiting for Fignon!

Despite puncturing, Moser took over a minute from Fignon in the first TT.

But with the help of a partisan helicopter, the most advanced bike and other help took 2'30" in little over 5km more
