If you want a weak Tour field check out 2006, 2007, & 2008... If Popo can be top 10 in a tour, you know the field is terrible

Go back and look at the climbing times up the mountains that year, totally crazy! But yes, there was a vaccum of GC contenders during that time much thanks to OP and Astanas scandals.
