What happened to the group that lost 7 minutes?

It turned into a real race. I figure with today's twice-up hilltop finish there was extra motivation by the climbers teams to shed some sprinters and whoever else was caught off guard. The main chase gave up quickly as Movistar, RSNT, etc. hammered away. The race will be most likely be won today, I think, by a strong (power) climber and a strong team. Take your pick.

Oscarito still knocking down pretenders like Benatti & Co- & teaching them how it's done. Honestly- That sprint was amazing!!!

The timing was beautiful to watch. I hope he has a great year and decides to soldier on another season. Only 36 and still getting over the lumps and kicking *ss.

I have been really disappointed with goss. He has been woefully out of form and hasnt featured at all. As for freire he doesnt look like he is ageing one bit and he still has that decent kick to hold off the the likes of bennati and the young pretenders of EBH and matthews.
He has clearly trying to follow in the footsteps of Cavendish, opening the season completely and utterly out of shape. Might not be a very bad idea in the long run though.

He suffered big time after his early peak last season. Guessing he has learnt from this with London is one of his big season goals.

On the highlights last night they had a picture of Biel Kadri getting the most aggressive rider award and Liggett and the graphic both said it was Nathan Haas. lol

Seems like Valverde lost speed. Could be a combination of him having lost weight and his long inactivity.

Or the team was riding for Rojas with Valverde saving his energies for today's stage.
