Setup for sprint finish or even a break.

This is it Sagan.

After a tough stage 7 (and consider the TT on Sunday), the GC boys would like a have another rest day. So some of these guys:

18 Jean-Christophe PERAUD FRA ALM +4:47
19 Andrey AMADOR BAKKAZAKOVA CRC MOV +5:59
20 Maxime BOUET FRA ALM +5:59
21 Lars Petter NORDHAUG NOR BLA +7:42
22 Maxime MONFORT BEL RLT +8:05
23 Amaël MOINARD FRA BMC +9:57
24 Michele SCARPONI ITA LAM +10:30
25 Brice FEILLU FRA SOJ +11:05
26 Mikael CHEREL FRA ALM +11:09
27 Francis DE GREEF BEL LTB +12:00
28 Vladimir GUSEV RUS KAT +12:07
29 Moreno MOSER ITA CAN +12:54
30 Eduard VORGANOV RUS KAT +14:11

should try and go in an break on the Cat 1 climb. Gotta be a big powerful break to make it work.

Otherwise Demare FTW.

Gonna go with Sagan again. He could do it in a sprint or a breakaway on that cat 3. Plus I would really like to see him show a good flat land sprint level before the Tour.

Andy to go in the break, he might as well. What does he have to lose?

Would be nice if Phil Gilbert tested his legs on that climb. Could cause a bit of panic even among the GC contenders.

Yes indeed it would be nice , but i think BMC will try to protect Frank/TVG.

The last mountain pass today is quite hard, it could be a second class category. Yes, it looks a day for Sagan, that yesterday soft-pedaling, but it is a day as well for a breakaway, or even the leaders, who could drop Pinot in the descent. But they will be thinking in tomorrow maybe...
