The equivalent stages in 2012 & 2013 ended with a sprint (Impey won both), but with the mood Valverde's in this year it might be a bit more selective but probably not. :p

Kwiatowski!!!

Kwiatkowski would be a good candidate for the win. But, I think if he is there at the finish then the other GC guys will be there as well, and Valverde also has a good sprint. After yesterday, I guess anyone could take it!....maybe Andy Shleck. :)

Contador's stranglehold on GC at least makes it more likely that some of the more enterprising GC guys could try to attack today on what might otherwise have been purely for the sprinters. Hopefully Kwiatkowski and Valverde make this interesting.

A very strong break will likely go again today.
But the "sprinter" teams will throw more resources into the chase earlier.
Valverde might want to save energy for stage 4, but what about other "GC contenders" who are already way down? Some should have a go on the last climb. Or not.

I hope Kwia or Dumoulin will take it, but Matthews looks a much better bet.

Since when is Cunego an awesome descender? On the first stage some Eurosport guys where talking like Contador was the best descender in the world and Cunego a very good one as well.
I'm not saying that he's like "let-me-take-squares-on-the-bends-Basso" but I wonder where all the hype came from.

Did decend well in that tour de Suisse where Soler fell so bad didn't he?

Hum maybe I can't recall that. Was that the one where Sagan catched him on the descent and outsprint him at the end?

well, the peloton didn't like the first break. Wheeled in.

Instead just one guy, a Caja Rural rider was able to get out in front. Lol.

After 34km, gap 3 minutes.

Nice, very nice indeed. Just glad to see him doing something and putting his face into the wind. :)

His break didn't last long though. Kudus for trying nevertheless.

I know, but like I said, just glad to see him doing something.

It doesn't take a lot to get us Andy fans happy or excited with him. :D
