I really don't know why the group with Thomas, Duomoulin and Spilak didn't go full gas till the end. They could have gained even more time.

Lol guys, Lutsenko bought a stage win in freaking Suisse? Bakelants was cooked and knew he had no chance whatsoever in the sprint, so he took a pull at the end as a sign of respect and because he didn't want to look like a wheelsucker.

it was obvious that Bakelands was cooked, gratz to Lutsenko. ;)

I don't know, this reminded me of Uran looking behind :(

You think a 22 year old who has only been pro for 2 years, is not rich, and does not even speak english, Negotiates and pays of Bakelands for a stage in TDS??

Very strong win by Lutsenko.
Nice action.

Yep. Regardless of what was going on with Bakelants it was a very good performance by Lutsenko to power away from a pretty strong break. I presume he's had an injury or illness this season but this was very much like what he was doing in the Vuelta

They talked with eachother on camera after the stage and Bakelands was trying to communicate that he was cooked.

This.
Amazing that so many people on a cycling forum have no clue what is going on. Bakelants was cooked from the moment he caught Lutsenko (closing the final 100 m cost him several minutes). From then on, all he could really do was hang on. He obviously told Lutsenko the same.

Think this could very well be right. He had troubles staying in the wheel of Lutsenko several times.

Lutsenko was clearly the strongest.
