Meersman to get one or two stages again. He won two stages at a similar route two years ago but was injured last year this time around.

The queen stage looks pretty hard but not expecting any fireworks before the final climb which is 5.5km at 5.8%. Uphill finish between Valverde and Rodriguez.

I know. There are some opportunities for GC guys to attack but I doubt it'll happen

That's what it looks like, unfortunately. Purito was my only hope to prevent a Piti or Alien win.

It's Valverde's race to loose, if only Bananito would show up in decent shape..

His best chance is on stage 1 but wouldn't be shocked if Ewan managed to win that stage. The other stage suited to the sprinters later in the week will go to Pelucchi, Mezgec or Ewan.
