Very poor showing from GVA. I didn´t see him attack once and then he went backwards in the sprint.

Bettiol is a beast. It's a shame he was caught. Congrats Viviani. Sky is dominating.

omg Vanmarcke can sprint now

He always could?
Not very well. Now he's beating Colbrelli, it's a pretty big step up from losing to Stannard
Aren't you talking about van Avermaet? :p When did Vanmarcke lose a sprint to Stannard?
Last Paris roubaix. Vanmarcke tends to lost to Van Avermaet in sprints in classics

So Viviani just won his two biggest victories in 1 week. QS must be happy if he can produce like this!

To be honest, a Giro stage win is fairly similar to euroeyes cyclassics hamburg

Can someone tell me why Ruben Guerreiro finished 6th in this race?

And yeah, you might be right. He probably even values that one higher considering he is Italian after all. But its a decently big one day race on the calendar (is it a classic?) so its bigger IMO.

To me it looks like Vanmarcke has become a better all-rounder recently. I don't think he's ever collected so many decent results outside of cobbled races as this year.

Because he used his sprinting legs to get away on the cobbles. He can ride a decent sprint but it depends on the day, really.

Agreed, but as anderis said he is improving a lot in other regards this year. His sprint being one of them, because for every impressive sprint there normally is about three or four less good ones for whatever reason (admittedly normally he is spent). But if he is able to sprint like this every race now, he won't have to bury himself to drop the likes of GvA as he'll probably beat them in a sprint.

Yeah, I don't think you can compare that to a 'real' sprint.
